Am 6.6.2012 ereignete sich der letzte Venustransit.
Erde, Sonne und Venus stehen exakt in einer Linie.
Die Geburtsstunde von Transit 66.
Bei einem Venustransit durchwandert die Venus die Sonnescheibe als schwarzer Punkt, wenn man sie denn dabei beobachten kann. Am 03. Juni 1769 gelang dies James Cook und Charles Green. Sie fertigten auf Tahiti zu jeder der sechs Stunden des Transits eine Zeichnung an. Aus den Messungen dieses Transits rund um den Globus konnte erstmals der Abstand der Erde zur Sonne berechnet werden.
Zum Zeitpunkt des nächsten Venustransits im Dezember 2117 werden wir vielleicht schon weiter, weiser und sowieso irgendwo oder nirgendwo zwischen Sonne, Erde und Venus sein.

ROTLICHT is an encounter between two artists who have each long found their own original voice and won multiple awards for their work.
What their works have in common is an immediate, sensual impact on our perception.
Their artistic exploration and collaboration produced a multi-part cross-genre performance that unites choreography, composition, live electronics and improvisation.
Henrietta Horn, long-term artistic director of the Folkwang Tanzstudio, has been working as a freelance choreographer, dancer and teacher since the end of 2008.
Dorothée Hahne is a composer, musician and publisher. She gives performances and concerts in museums, galleries and churches, creates instrumental and electronic compositions, film scores, poetry scores and audio drama projects.

STELLA SPLENDENS
The second CD release of the Bois de Cologne Cologne Ensemble from 2000 is dedicated to collaboration with the mezzo-soprano Maria Jonas of Spanish music for Marian devotion spanning four centuries. The interpretations of secular and sacred chants touch and inspire joy through skillful play and musical sensibilities at the highest level, so this shot every CD collection of old music like a refined jewel.
