The exhibition “Einsturz” by Rosemarie Stuffer shows almost exclusively paintings that deal with collapsed buildings. The starting point are collapse sites that can be traced back to real events and raise questions about the (de)construction and composition of surfaces. The collapse of the Cologne City Archive in March 2009 forms the focal point.

In the 17 or so works on display, Rosemarie Stuffer explores different perspectives and methods in order to engage with these collapse sites and their state of transformation.
