Ein NDR Kultur Foyerkonzert ohne Publikum – an sich undenkbar. Aber in diesen Zeiten heißt es: watt mutt, dat mutt.
Die Blockflötistin Dorothee Oberlinger spielte am 8. April im Rolf-Liebermann-Studio des NDR in Hamburg ein Programm von riesiger Bandbreite und zeigte ihr geradezu phantastisches Können auf zahlreichen verschiedenen Flöten. Teils sogar auf mehreren Flöten gleichzeitig oder auch mit elektronischen Effekten. Von Musik der Hildegard von Bingen über Bach und Telemann bis zu aktuellster Musik von Dorothée Hahne, die für Dorothee Oberlinger komponiert worden ist.
Dabei gab es spannende Gesprächsthemen en masse. Im Gespräch mit Ludwig Hartmann plauderte die gefeierte Flötistin über Musik, Corona und Karriere.

Was schreckt uns am meisten? Das endgültige Aus durch den Tod?
Wie wäre es mit folgendem Gedanken, Luigi Nono folgend:
Der Tod schließt nicht, sondern verwandelt. Er segelt zwischen Räumen und Zeiten, die sich auf andere Weise öffnen.
Dieser Abend beleuchtet den Moment des Sterbens, das Diesseits und das Jenseits mit Musik und zeitgenössischem Tanz, mit Auszügen aus Ligetis „Le grand macabre“ und Senecas Worten in stoischer Todeserwartung. Ein Abend im Spiel mit Zuständen, Ereignissen und Prozessen, würdevoll ernst und gleichzeitig zutiefst humorvoll komisch – in jedem Fall überraschend.

Bayreuth (D): Duo Sono Eternity – Millenium Charts
The flute and the drum are among the oldest instruments in history and have been closely linked to human culture for thousands of years. But which melodies actually haunted the minds of people from the past? Starting with minstrel dances that a medieval market visitor might have brought home as a catchy tune along with his shopping, Sophie Schambeck and Sebastian Wielandt build bridges to the 21st century with intermittent “charts”. Among others, Flow my tears by John Dowland, one of the best-known songs from Renaissance England, will be heard, as well as baroque dance movements by Bach. The transition to the 21st century will be concluded by Commentari III for recorder and tape and classics of the solo percussion repertoire such as Interzones for vibraphone and tape
